Insurance
Aerial surveying supports insurance documentation by providing date-stamped, high-resolution imagery and measurable site data before and after an incident. Orthomosaics, 3D models and point clouds can record property condition, roof and façade areas, visible damage, debris, water pathways and site changes—particularly where access is unsafe or difficult. This creates an objective visual record that can assist insurers, assessors, builders and property owners with damage assessments, repair scoping, claim evidence and dispute reduction. Repeat aerial captures can also compare pre- and post-event conditions, helping clarify the extent and timing of change while reducing time spent working at height or in hazardous areas.
Aerial imagery supports the broader assessment process; it does not replace an insurer’s, adjuster’s or qualified building professional’s determination.
